AMP Trio is proud to present m(y)our world, the next release of their collaborative efforts in an online video series and audio CD. With pianist Addison Frei and bassist Perrin Grace flying in from New York, joining drummer Matt Young, AMP Trio returned to their University of North Texas roots, meeting at Panhandle House Studios in Denton to record the audio and video for this, their second project.
AMP Trio turned up their quality of presentation with Snarky Puppy videographer Andy LaViolette and the audio mastering of Nate Wood. Look forward to a new musical approach to match by these talented young musicians.
Each member of the trio brought a handful of songs to record, similar to what they did for Flow, their debut album. This time Addison, Matt and Perrin invited some of their favorite musical peers to be featured on the album. Vocalist Tahira Clayton, guitarist Brad Kang, organist Drew Zaremba and percussionist Nick Rothouse each stepped in to enhance AMP Trio’s updated musical leanings.

Track Name: Stand By You
Maybe some nights when I've been feeling low,
Thrust into places that I hardly know,
And while I'm trying not to miss the show,
I'll stand by you until I learn to grow.

I can see clearly, no storms are near me anymore.
When it's cold, and the light turns to dark,
I will stand by me if you will stand by you.

If you should find that times are looking blue,
And too much out with old and in with new,
Then please come closer to my arms, please do,
And stand by me and I will stand by you.

Songs can be painful, isn't that what they're meant for, sometimes.
Cause a tune from the heart must be true,
Stand by me and I will stand by you.

If you are doubting, that's why I am shouting, more and more.
Cause a tune from the heart must be true,
Stand by me and I will always stand by you
Track Name: Boundlessly In Balance
Transfixed by the same moon, but veiled by different clouds.
Hiding from our window view, but still we've seen this all before.
In balance we're boundless evermore, evermore.

Facing the gaps within our vision, seeing what else is yet to be,
Reaching for you in constellations, until my eyes can't see.
Boundlessly stretching past an ending, finding a middle in between,
Suddenly hanging in the balance, are we the things unseen?

The sun may set before it's time, always slipping beneath the sky.
Sometimes you walk when I must crawl, seeing things I cannot see at all.
But still so much is moving on the ground, hear our sound.

And so we’ll ride on, until the next dawn...
Track Name: Dallas
Wonder why I can't get by
It takes some time to go on my way
So far from here in this tangled place
Show me a city in lights, Dallas all these nights
Track Name: Her Way in the Room
When first you speak a melody is sounding,
And when you step your spell cast so confounding,
As you make your way these walls can’t hope to contain what’s you,
And how you fill the room.

And when you sleep it’s like I’m dreaming with you,
A dream I dream each night.
Can’t you see the glow you’re giving,
Making your way in the room.
